Peanut Sprout is germinated and grown by use of potable water. It can be harvested after 7 days from starting cultivation. Peanut kernel contains Resveratrol a little, but Resveratrol is significantly increased while peanut is germinated and growing into sprout. Resveratrol is a phytochemical produced naturally by several plants when under attack by pathogens such as bacteria or fungi. Several experiments suggest that it triggers mechanism that counteracts aging-related effects in animal models. Resveratrol is currently a topic of numerous animal and human studies into its effects.

While peanut kernel is germinating into sprout, lipid and energy are significantly decreased. Thus peanut sprout is a kind of wellness food. Components of Peanut and Peanut Sprout are as attached. Peanut sprout is consumed as a fresh vegetable. Also it can be processed and used as raw material of functional foods. Now peanut sprouts are used as raw material of “Danke 120”, functional health food for patients of diabetes, and “Great Morning”, a hangover drink. Peanut sprout has potentiality to be developed into the products of (1)canned food, (2)pickles, (3)pill of powder, (4)snack, (5)liquor, (6)tea, (7)extract liquid, (8)cosmetics (whitening function), (9)soap, (10)pharmaceutical raw material, etc. The Image of Products Using Peanut Sprouts is attached.

Peanut Sprout also contains Isoflavones such as Daidzin, Genistin, Genistein, etc. The Report of Analysis on Contents of Isoflavones in Peanut Sprout is attached.

Peanut Sprout also contains Asparagine (834.5mg/100g) that is more than that of Asparagus (360mg/100g).
