June 26, 2008 -- Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Co., Inc. (Hisamitsu; TSE:4530) announced that as of today Hisamitsu has filed an application for new drug approval with Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare for use of a transdermal absorption-type continuous-action drug for the treatment of cancer pain (development code: HFT-290).
